Anna Marie Christensen - Buhl

September 20, 1941 - December 29, 2015

Anne, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home with family and friends at her side.

Anne was born in Orofino where she resided until moving with her husband Dave to Riggins, prior to moving to Buhl in 1976.

Anne Pishl married David Wayne Christensen 56 years ago. Anne left her job as an X-Ray Tech in Orofino to be an outfitter/rancher's wife and everything that, that entailed: cooking, cleaning, entertaining guests at Moose Creek Ranches, bottle-feeding calves and warming them in the bath tub.

Anne and Dave also spent many happy years at their house in Zabellos, BC, fishing, sight-seeing, boating and, of course, more fishing. It was a wonderful time in their lives with many fond memories and making many lifetime friends.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; sons, Scott Christensen and Maury (Lea) Christensen; daughter, Kathleen (Craig) Karel; plus the lights of their lives, their grandchildren and their families, Donavan, Spencer, Sydney, Curtis, Cassie (Ryan), David (Kayla), Rebel, Jay (Brianna), Nathan, Ryan and Ashton; great-grandchildren, Claire, Colter and Zoe; sister, JoEllen Haney; brother, Jim (Kathy) Pishl; brother-in-law, Maury Christensen and their families.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1701 Poplar Street, in Buhl. There will be a viewing at the Catholic Church from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016, with a vigil starting at 7:00.
