Bertha Norris

Bertha Mae Norris, 80, of Twin Falls, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital. Bertha was born December 23, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Bertha Iona and Horace A. Worley.

Bertha attended school and graduated from Buhl High School. She married Jerry Norris January 23, 1968 in Twin Falls, Idaho in the same building that she was born in.  Together they had two sons, Leroy and Bobby.  She also had a daughter Kathy from a previous marriage.

Bertha was a member of the Baptist Church; she loved to play Bingo and go fishing.  One of her favorite things was to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Horace Worley; mother, Bertha Iona; step-dad, Roy Heimer; and sister, Sharon Bailey. Bertha is survived by her husband, Jerry Norris; sons, Leroy (Sara) Norris, and Bobby (Holly) Norris; daughter, Kathy (Darwin Malone) Hensen; six, grandkids, eight great-grandkids; sisters, Mary (Don) Samuelson, and Sharon Bailey; brother, Jimmy (Mary) Heimer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 9th Ave North, Buhl. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 1585 East Elm St. Buhl.
