Carla Adams

Carla Jean Newman Adams, 72, of Buhl, Idaho passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St. Luke’s in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Carla born to godly parents Carl B. Newman and Ellen Thueson on May 25, 1949. She attended Twin Falls High School graduating in 1967, she then attended the College of Southern Idaho and later studied Elementary Education at Arizona State University.

She was retired but has worked a variety of jobs in her life such as bookkeeping and receptionist. She worked for many companies, Carla married her eternal companion Edwin W. Adams on May 25, 1978 in Twin Falls. They were sealed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Logan, Utah on August 3, 1979. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Some of her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and quilting. She really loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin W. Adams; parents, Carl B. Newman, and Ellen Thueson; and her baby brothers, Kevin Newman, and Todd Newman. She is survived by her sister, Connie Sparks of Buhl, Idaho; brother, Terry B. Newman of Twin Falls, Idaho; daughter, Laura Coles of Buhl, Idaho; grandchildren, Jessica Lindsey of Buhl, Idaho; Graydon Mothersill, who serves in the Army; and Emily (Josh) Mothersill of North Carolina.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 9th Ave. North, Buhl.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Church of Latter-day Saints, 1001 Fair Street Buhl, Idaho.
