Carol Christensen

Carol Christensen, 85, of Buhl, died December 28th, 2013 from complications of intestinal surgery.

Carol was born in Castleford, Idaho on May 10th to Martin and Rachel Miller. Carol graduated from the St. Paul's School for Girls in Walla Walla, Washington and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Idaho. She married Isaac Eugene Todd, also of Castelford, in 1950. She and Gene had two children and lived happily together in Castleford and Buhl until Gene's death in 1964.

Carol was the administrative assistant at Buhl Elementary School (now Popplewell Elementary) from 1965 - 1993.

In 1982, Carol married Dale Christensen of Buhl Idaho. They spent 25 happy years together until Dale passed away in 2007. During their years together they traveled widely through the United States and Canada. They particularly enjoyed their sojourns in Alaska, Arizona, and Texas.

Carol is survived by two children, Nicholas (Christine) Todd and Amy Anne (Eric) Kibler; a sister, Maxine (Stan) Jones, four step-children, Kenneth Christensen, Kris Silbaugh, Keith Christensen, and Kelli (Keith) Eggleston; three grandchildren, and nine step-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held, 2pm, Friday, January 3, 2014 at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 9th Ave. N. in Buhl.
