Connie Bernier

Connie Illene Bernier, 62, of Buhl, passed away suddenly, July 20, 2016 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Connie was born to Haney and Doris Tyree in Topeka, Kansas while Connie's Dad was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. Haney served in the U.S. Air Force. The family moved often and were stationed at many locations around the world.

After Haney left the service, the family settled in Buhl, Idaho where they had family roots. Connie married Mel Bernier from Buhl. They were later divorced.

During the last several years of her life, Connie lived with and helped care for her mother Doris.

Connie was an avid bowler and enjoyed being on bowling league teams at the Sunset Bowl in Buhl.

She was a loving and caring daughter, sister and friend. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

Connie was preceded in death by her Father, Haney.

She is survived by her mother, Doris Tyree of Buhl; sister, Carol Bunting of New Jersey; brothers, Jim Tyree of Washington, Gene Tyree of Jerome and Earl Tyree of Buhl and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held for Connie at a later date. (Time and location to be announced). Cremation arrangements were handled by Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl.
