Connie Lynn Dearden, 60, passed away on January 20, 2025 surrounded by her family members and the love of her life, Richard Dearden. She was born on December 17, 1964 at Emanuel hospital in Portland, Oregon. She was born to her father Stephen Cummings and her mother Dawn McKellar. She was the oldest of three sisters, Patricia Cotonzariti and Pamela Perryman. Connie has two biological daughters, Brandy Bradt and Monique Dearden. She also has a stepson and stepdaughter, Richard Dearden Jr. and Shavon Johnson. All together she has twelve grand-children and one great-grand-child. Her family was her whole world and she would go to any length for them.

Connie and Richard have a long-lasting love that will forever be cherished. They met when they were both a young 30 years old and had their daughter Monique. They separated after a few years but reconnected 19 years later. They married and lived happily together for over 9 years. Her illness was sudden and unexpected.

Connie loved to spend her spare time crafting. She would make the most beautiful fairy houses and terrariums. She would always get her friends and family to make these with her. It was a blast. She also had a big love for fishing. It brought her peace and happiness. Some of her favorite things were cats, santa-christmas in general, and angels.

Connie was such a dedicated and hardworking manager. She worked in restaurants her whole life. When she passed away she was the General Manager at IHOP. The team there was easily a second family for her.

Connie had a certain love for the beach and it was a dream of hers to spend her retirement time there with her husband. For that reason we are going to have her memorial on the Oregon Coast. We will have more information available soon about time and date.
