Donald Prigmore

Donald James Prigmore, 75, beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa, passed away peacefully July 30, 2013.
Born June 23, 1938 to James and Myrtle Prigmore, he loved the outdoors and playing sports. He was a born leader, being elected as class president numerous times in junior and senior high school. He was married to his sweetheart Lorraine for 55 years. He started working in the grocery business as the age of 14, and eventually bought his own store, Don's Thriftway in Buhl, Idaho. He served as a member of the Board of Directors for Associated Foods. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, loved his family, and cherished the friendships he made with those who came to his store.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine; son Larry (Diane); and daughters Annette (Wayne), Jill, Lynda (Greg), Jennifer (Kyle). His legacy of charity, loyalty, and faithfulness, will live on through his 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be between 5 - 7pm, Thursday, August 1st, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 9th Ave N Buhl, ID. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 2nd ,2013(viewing 10:00-10:45am) at the Buhl 1st Ward LDS Church (501 Main Street) Buhl, ID. A viewing will be held at 1:00 pm, August 3rd, 2013 at the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery Chapel (1640 Lakeview Dr.) Bountiful, UT. Interment will be 2pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl, Idaho.
