Dora Marie Beadz, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2023, in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was born on March 20, 1941, in Seattle, Washington to the late Arthur and Dorothy Hendrix. Dora's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Known for her upbeat personality and her attempts at humor, Dora had a special way of brightening up any room she entered. Although she didn't seek to stand out in a crowd, she had a genuine love for connecting with people and engaging in meaningful conversations. Her warm and inviting nature made her a beacon of light wherever she went.

Throughout her life, Dora found solace in several hobbies and interests. She had a passion for quilting and baking, immersing herself in the joy of creating something beautiful with her hands. Whether it was crafting intricate quilt patterns or whipping up delectable treats in the kitchen, Dora poured her heart into everything she did.

One of Dora's greatest joys in life was fishing. When married to her third husband JB Sorensen, she would spend weeks at a time steelhead fishing. By the riverside, surrounded by nature's serene beauty, she found peace and tranquility. Fishing became an integral part of her life and left her with lasting memories.

Dora will also be remembered as a loving mother who always strived to take care of her family. Her dedication to being there for her five children - Owen (Brenda) Prescott, Tim Prescott, Paula (Mark) Maguregui, Tracy (Ron) Wright, and Jeff Prescott - was unwavering. She worked tirelessly to create a nurturing home environment where love abounded.

In addition to being a caring mother, Dora took great pride in being a grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Shana (Andrew) Stevens, Cody (Sandy) Prescott, John Prescott, Jay Prescott, Tyler Prescott, Zach Moore, Justin (Melissa) Moore, Skylar (Brian) McManus, Kristin Prescott, Skye (Olen) Ridding. She adored her fourteen great-grandchildren and cherished the moments she spent with each one of them.

Dora leaves behind a legacy filled with love and fond memories. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering commitment to her family and friends. Her selflessness and dedication touched the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Dora is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Dorothy Hendrix, her ex-husband Roy J. Prescott, her sisters Louise Harmison, Rose Mae Ridley, Deloris Brauburger, Maxine Brauburger, Pearl King, Phillis Bower, Peggy Mercer, and her brother Harvew Hendrix.
