Doris Osborne

Doris “Rainy” Osborne died in her home on June 17, 2021. She was 95 years old, born April 28, 1926.

Rainy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and lived much of her life there.  She lived in Richmond, Virginia during World War II, as well as in Blackfoot, Idaho, southern California, some stints on mining claims in Utah and Colorado, and finally in southern Idaho.  She went to Europe with her mother when she was 45 and took many trips with Ossie and her kids and grandkids.  They helped all of their kids and grandkids get started with their homes and their education. Rainy shared a home with her family members until the end of her life and died without an enemy in the world.

Rainy is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Mary Ann; her husband, “Ossie” Osborne; and her granddaughter, Andrea. She is survived by two daughters; three granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside services will be held with family in Salt Lake City.
