Elizabeth Ruth Skinner, born on April 22, 1933, in Twin Falls, Idaho, peacefully passed away on November 4 2024, in Buhl, Idaho. She was a individual whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.
A proud college graduate from Idaho State University, Elizabeth dedicated her professional life to a successful career in management. Her commitment to excellence and leadership was evident in all she undertook.
Elizabeth had a passion for reading and traveling, pursuits that enriched her life and broadened her horizons. She actively participated in her community and engaged with various organizations, notably as a member of the Republican Women Club, where her enthusiasm for civic engagement shone brightly. Additionally, she played a significant role in Red Cross Blood Drives, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to service. As the Mentor Club Chairperson, she offered guidance and support, embodying the spirit of mentorship.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving son, Wain Poindexter.
She was preceded in death by her dear son, Paul Edward Poindexter.
Elizabeth’s legacy will continue to resonate through the fond memories held by her family and friends, and her impact will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those whose lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
