Eugenia "Gigi" Rae Hilbert, born on August 14, 1958, in Palo Alto, California, passed away on October 29, 2024, in Buhl, Idaho. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, Gigi dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She was married to Douglas Hilbert on December 11, 1976, with whom she shared a deep and loving bond.
Professionally, Gigi worked as a secretary, but her true vocation was as a devoted family member and friend. Known for her loving and caring nature, she was a strong prayer warrior whose contagious laugh would light up any room. Gigi found joy in camping and cross-stitching, activities that she shared with her loved ones.
Her life was guided by her faith, embodied in her favorite verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without Ceasing". Gigi was actively involved in her church community, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of many.
Gigi will be dearly missed, but her loving spirit and unwavering devotion to family and faith will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Gigi is survived by her two children, Caleb (Ashley) Hilbert and Sarah (Derek) Austin; along with six grandchildren and one on the way, who brought her immense joy. She is also remembered by her brother Terry (Donna) Schober; and sister Karen (Caesar) Villarreal.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Calvary Chapel Jerome, 900 N Lincoln Ave, Jerome.
