Fay Arlene Parrott

Fay A. Parrott, 89, passed away on April 29, 2024, in Buhl, Idaho.

Fay was born on October 23, 1934, to Lillian and Oral Bagley in Buhl, Idaho. She was a lifetime Buhl resident graduating from high school in 1952. She enjoyed cheerleading and being the drum majorette for four years during high school. After attending Idaho State University for a year, she married Calvin Parrott on August 30, 1953. 

After various jobs in her younger years, she was the Library Director at the Buhl Public Library for 24 years. She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church, and a longtime member of the Clear Lake Country Club where she enjoyed golfing with Calvin. She was an avid quilter and gifted many quilts to her family and friends. She enjoyed camping and always had a good book and handwork along with her.

Fay is survived by her husband, Calvin; her children, Wendy Parrott-Carroll, Dan Parrott, and Mickey (Mark) Combs; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ross Bagley.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Enhabit Home Health and Hospice and Woodland Assisted Living.
