James Joseph Kodesh Jr. “Jimmy Joe”, 64, of Buhl passed away trying to save his father from a fire at home on August 18, 2021.
Jimmy was born to James Sr. and Verna Kodesh on June 2, 1957 in Mountain Home, Idaho.
Jimmy spent time in the Army National Guard and spent much time doing construction and concrete. He was able to spend a portion of his life with Sandy Kodesh by his side.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing darts, loved guitars, and music.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sandy Kodesh; and grandson, Matthew Jones.
He is survived by his brothers, Jeff (Nadine) Chance, and David (Susan) Kodesh; children, Jason (Jessica) Kodesh, Melinda (David) Snyder, Casie (Travis) Spearing, Courtney (Jeremy) Fearheller, Tarah Anderson, and Kendra Kodesh (Mack Wilson); 15 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m,, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Calvary Chapel, 1004 Burley Ave, Buhl. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held following the service.
Private graveside services will be held in Shoshone.
