Janica "Kimmy" Parker

TWIN FALLS

Janica “Kimmy” Parker passed away surrounded by her family at her home in Twin Falls on August 12, 2021.  She was born November 27, 1957 in Twin Falls, Idaho.  She was the daughter of Charles and Betty Dana.  Kim grew up in Buhl on the family ranch where she grew a soft spot for any kind of animal. After graduating from Buhl High School, she married Rick Baer and together they had a son, Gregory Baer.

Kim later met and married the love of her life, Myron Parker, and blended her family with Myron’s two children, Mylyn Rodig and Pete Parker. Together, Kim and Myron started their own farm and spraying business, while she also worked at Pillsbury-Seneca for many years.  Kim loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing.  Kim had too many hobbies to list and was an understated artist.

She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Dana. She is survived by her husband, Myron; children, Greg (Talena) Baer; Mylyn Rodig; Pete (Angie) Parker; and her father Charles and his partner Maida Lee.  Her grandchildren include Colby and Payton Rodig; Kellen and Taylor Baer; Kim’s siblings include, David (Roxan); Andrea (Scott); and Teresa (Glenn); and many nieces and nephews.  She will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at West End Cemetery, 1574 East 4150 North, Buhl.
