Jefre Hudson

Jefre "Jeff" Hudson, 57, of Buhl, Idaho went peacefully into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on May 18, 2016 surrounded by the love of his family. Jeff fought a long battle with pancreatic cancer never once losing his faith, hope and love for Jesus.
Jeff graduated from Buhl High School in 1978. He attended CSI with an emphasis in agriculture. Jeff thoroughly loved his time farming and ranching. He spent much of his childhood herding sheep with his family and later in life his passion became his cattle business. Jeff was a hard worker and took pride and was successful in the different career paths he chose during his life. When he wasn't working Jeff loved to be outdoors. He spent his spare time hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. His pride and joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. They were his world and his love for them was unmatched. "Papa" was always good for an adventure and as much chocolate as they could handle. Jeff was happiest in his kitchen cooking and he loved to cook for a crowd. He was a loyal BSU fan and cheered them on through highs and lows alike.
In 1979, Jeff married Deanice Howard of Buhl, ID and together they shared three children and five grandchildren. They were married for 18 years and created many great memories, from being out in the swather until the early morning to Utah Jazz games. Their life together was full and will be remembered fondly.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Dell Hudson; mother, Patty Hudson and grandparents, Ray and Lois Hudson and Lyle and Hazel Winans.
Jeff is survived by his siblings, Tim (Janie) Hudson, Luann Keene and Kim Hudson; children, Beau (Heather) Hudson, Amanda (Josh) Wells and Austin Hudson; grandchildren, Austyn Hudson, Corbyn Hudson, Caleb Wells, Kaiya Wells and Liam Wells and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Jeff is also survived by his dear friend Mack, his puggle. He was a loyal friend to the end and never left his side.
A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl, Idaho.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Twin Falls, Idaho.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff's name to Stanton Healthcare Magic Valley Pregnancy Resource Center at 718 Shoshone Street E., Twin Falls, ID 83301.
