Jerry H. Mock

Gerald “Jerry” H. Mock, 76, of Twin Falls died Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his residence.

Jerry was born in Flint, Michigan to Harold and Bernice Cole. His father Harold passed away when Jerry was 6 years old. His mother moved with Jerry and his brother to Ventura, California. Bernice later met and married Delbert Mock. Delbert adopted both Jerry and his brother Tom. The family moved to Waitsburg, Washington where Jerry grew up and graduated from Waitsburg High School. Jerry went on to attend Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. After graduating college Jerry worked for Green Giant in Washington, Minnesota, Texas, and Idaho. He settled in Buhl and began working as Transportation Manager for Clear Springs Food until his retirement.

Jerry married Nona Lehmann in 1985 and together created a wonderful family with the addition of Aron and Hanna. The Mock’s owned Fox Floral from 1991 until 2005 which gave their children a truly unique and beautiful experience growing up. Jerry was a man of great integrity and character who provided a pillar of unwavering strength and support for his family. His life was defined by his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family.

Outside of his family and career, Jerry had a love for the sport of golf and it was evident in every aspect of his life. He passed on his love of golf to his son, Aron and you would often find them on the golf course together. Jerry had an infectious smile that could brighten anyone's day and a personality that drew people to him.

Jerry is survived by Nona Mock; Aron (Amanda) and Hanna; grandchildren, Ali, Renly, and Asher; mother, Bernice Mock; and brother, Thomas Mock.

Jerry was preceded in death by his birth father, Harold Cole and adopted father, Delbert Mock.

A graveside service celebrating the life of Jerry Mock will be held at the Filer Cemetery, 2350 E. 4000 N. Filer, Idaho 83328 on October 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Please join us in paying our respects.
