John Pember

John Douglas "Doug" Pember was born on April 9, 1942 in Buhl, Idaho, the third child of Walter and Mary Lou Gibb Pember, and their first son. Doug went peacefully home to the Lord at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday, September 17th, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
Doug excelled at sports and hunting and these became his lifelong passions.
Doug is preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Kathy and his brother David.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty; his sisters, Marilyn (Craig) Bennett of Bend, Oregon and Gay (Larry) Peterson of Wendell; his sister-in-law, Suzie of Glenns Ferry; his sons, Matt and Ryan; his daughter-in-law, Hollie and the lights of his life, his Grandchildren, Kaden and Paige Pember.
A celebration of his life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Clear Lake Country Club in Buhl. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl.
In lieu of flowers, Doug requested donations be sent to Hospice Visions or the Buhl or Castleford Quick Response Units.
