Kim Dale Fultz, a dedicated technician at a fish hatchery and an avid enthusiast of the outdoors, passed away peacefully at his home in Buhl, Idaho, on November 18, 2024, just two days shy of his 67th birthday. Born on November 20, 1957, in Twin Falls, Idaho, Kim was known for his scientific mind, analytical skills, and infectious sense of humor. He could always lighten the mood with a well-timed joke, earning the affection of all who knew him.
A proud graduate of Buhl High School in 1977, Kim excelled in athletics, participating in cross-country track and achieving recognition as a champion wrestler. His competitive spirit and determination were evident from a young age and carried through to other passions he pursued throughout his life.
Kim's love for nature led him to become an avid arrowhead hunter, where he engaged his curiosity and appreciation for history. He even collaborated with CSI to assist in teaching a flint napping class, showcasing his willingness to share his knowledge and passion with others. Additionally, Kim enjoyed hunting, particularly for geese and ducks, and found joy in his hobby of coin collecting.
Despite his many passions, Kim faced significant struggles with his health. He battled circulatory issues for years, which resulted in amputations and severe pain. However, his resilience and spirit remained unbroken until the end.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Linda (Larry) Lammers and Debbie (Mark) Williams, both of Buhl, Idaho, as well as Cindy (Don) Simmons of Gresham, Oregon. He is also remembered fondly by his numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces, who will carry forward his legacy of laughter and enthusiasm for life.
Kim was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) James Fultz and Carol Jean (Clayton) Fultz, who provided him with a foundation of love that he extended to his own family.
Kim and the family would like to thank the following: Meals on Wheels, especially Ray. Dr. Mason and staff, Dr. Wralstrad and staff and the Anticoagulation Clinic, especially Lori Poppleton.
