LaDonya Murray

LaDonya Jean Murray, 46, of Buhl, passed away peacefully at her residence, with loved ones by her side February 3, 2022. LaDonya was born March 21, 1975 to James Murray and Linda Alvarado in Gooding, Idaho.

LaDonya attended school in Buhl and came to know a lot of people. She worked in places such as Ridley’s, Times News, and Family Dollar. LaDonya faced a lot of health challenges in the last few years of her life, which included diabetes and blood clots. Due to complications, she had to have a major portion of her leg removed. True to form, LaDonya tried to keep a positive attitude about it. She always had a way to make jokes about whatever situation she was in. One such joke she would make about her missing leg involved her working at IHOP. She always made us laugh and brought great value to our lives. She was clearly a giver and had a huge heart. She will be greatly missed.

LaDonya was preceded in death by her father, James Murray; mother, Linda Alvarado; and sister, Diane Joseph. She is survived by her sisters, Tina Joseph and Jamie Murray-Calvillo; nephews, Jordan (Kaleigh) Murray, Chris (Whitney) Rivera, Miguel Calvillo, and Brandon Calvillo; and great niece, Avalynn Rivera.

A Celebration of Life will be held this summer with details to be announced.
