Lawrence "Larry" Lacey

Lawrence “Larry” L. Lacey, 90, of Buhl, Idaho passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at a care facility in, Buhl, Idaho.

Larry was born in Richford, New York, on April 27, 1933, the son of the late James and Bessie Barnes Lacey. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict until his honorable discharge in 1955. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a grounds keeper for 31 years at Cornell University.

He is survived by his daughter, Laureen (Rick) Lacey of Buhl, ID.; granddaughters, Crystal (Jim) of Richford, NY, Alicia (Jason) of Buhl, Id. and great-grandchildren, Eric, Alic, Kahlan, David, Zach; great great-grandchildren, Everett, Ellie Jean and Hazel.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Zora Quick Lacey, on December 24, 2003; and his siblings, Clarence Lacey, June Conway, Wilbur Lacey, Gerald Lacey, Ann Barden, Norma Grimes, Dorla Zeh and Donald Lacey.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, services will be private with burial at Smith Valley Cemetery in Willseyville, New York.
