Lawrence Schiewe

Lawrence A. Schiewe, 72, of Fernley, Nevada, passed away on October 23, 2012 in Sparks, Nevada.
Lawrence was born on November 12, 1939 in American Falls, Idaho and later lived and attended school in Buhl, Idaho. At a young age, Lawrence joined and served in the U.S. Navy. After leaving the Navy he drove truck for a while and then went on to work at the General Motors plant in Kansas City, Kansas, from which he later retired. After his retirement he spent the remainder of his life in Fernley, Nevada.
Lawrence is survived by his sisters; Laura Wilson of Nevada and Ruth (Don) Ramsey of Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Herman and Alice Schiewe and three brothers and three sisters.
A graveside service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the West End Cemetery in Buhl, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl.
