Lois M. Lammers, 95, of Buhl, passed away peacefully at her home on October 31, 2023. Lois was born December 25, 1927, in Eustis, Nebraska. She moved to Buhl, Idaho in 1933, and graduated from Buhl High School in 1945. On November 14, 1945, she married Bill Lammers. Together they had two sons, Steven and Larry.
Lois and Bill farmed an 80-acre property two miles west of Bill’s parents’ property. In 1949, the family moved to Bill’s parent’s 160-acre farm that the Lammer’s family had owned since 1940. Bill and Lois both lived on and farmed this property until they passed away.
Lois was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was selected as Worthy Matron in 1960 and 1961. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile #40 for over 50 years. She was also a member and past president of the Ella Club for over 50 years.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill in 2009; son, Steven in 2006; two sisters, Dorothy Howard and Peggy Gillett; and brother, Dale Adams.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Linda) Lammers; five grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was loved by all her family and friends.
Lois’s family would like to thank Crystal and the team at Visions Home Health and Hospice, Dr. Mason, Dr. Crandall and Dr. Preucil for all their help and kindness in her final days.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 10, 2023, at Farmer Funeral Chapel 130 9th Ave N, Buhl.
