Marcos Garcia
June 17, 1945 ~ February 1, 2021
Marcos was born in Managua, Nicaragua on June 17, 1945. He was the second born child of 15. He grew up with his siblings and started working at an early age to help his parents financially, but he still made time to have fun even though he had a lot of responsibility. Grandpa Chevo would mention how Marcos would work hard all week and would sneak in Grandpa’s room on the weekends to steal his shoes to go dancing at the local town dances. We all know it’s all about the right dancing shoe fetish that has been passed on to many of his kids and grandkids with shoe collection fetishes. Marcos started his own retail business at a young age, he would buy items and go door to door to sell his products, he also gave his clients lines of credit for his products. He was blessed with faithful returning clients that maintained business relations with Marcos throughout his entire adult life in Nicaragua. Marcos dated Maria Ingracia Cabrera in 1963 and had his first child Ronaldo Abel Garcia Cabrera. Marcos met his first wife Elba Nelly Molina in 1966 at the age of 21. He knocked on her door selling his products and they ended up becoming friends. Marcos later asked for permission to start courting Elba in the summer of 1967. They had been courting for a short period when Marcos popped the question and she said yes. They were blessed with 32 years of happy marriage and four children, Karen, Cecia, Abid and Karla. He worked and attended Christian academy where he earned his bachelor’s in Biblical doctrine, philosophy, and history of religion, obtaining his license to be a pastor in Nicaragua. Marcos and Nelly’s biggest accomplishment while being married was bringing their children to America in 1986. Marcos and Nelly arrived in Idaho the winter of 1989 where they established residency in Buhl, Idaho. Marcos and Nelly started a small business in agriculture as contractors, they had approximately 20 to 30 employees. Their children worked alongside them cleaning weeds in fields for sugar beets, onions, and beans. They both started working for Green Giant where Marcos eventually retired from. Marcos and Nelly divorced in the summer of 1996 and continued to be close friends. Together they still enjoyed every child, grandchild, and great grandchild, all the milestones of their children’s lives, and always supporting each other and their children. Marcos re-married on May 22 of 1997 to Irma Del Carmen Lezama who had a child; Reynaldo Andres Martinez that they raised together. Marcos and Irma later had a child together, Ronald Marcos Garcia. Marcos was musically talented since a young age; he played the guitar and sang everywhere he went. He taught Karen and Cecia music and they both sang for him wherever they went. He also taught Karen how to play the guitar. Marcos loved to serve the lord and bring joy to all with his guitar.
Marcos enjoyed making people laugh, his personality was easy going and he made friends with whom ever gave him the opportunity to hear him talk, sing, or play his guitar. Marcos’ pride and joy were always his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, he made sure to have a personal relationship with every single one of them. Marcos and his youngest son Ronald had a very special bond since the day he was born. Marcos was the rock to his family, making sure all his kids and family learned the path to eternal life through our father, Jesus Christ. He was our protector, our loving father, teacher, and friend. Marcos was always giving to anyone that needed. He is remembered by his friends and family as aka, El Gallo negro, El comandante Marcos, Pimp daddy and Casanova. His sibling’s nicked named him “Sampa Limones for being a joker”
