Mary Daniels

Mary E. (Irish) Daniels, 81, of Buhl, ID went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2013. She was born in Chicago to Daniel Augustus and Mary Jane Kelly. Moving west as a young child, Irish spent time in Oklahoma, Colorado, and was ultimately raised on a ranch in McKinnon, WY. An avid musician, Irish enjoyed playing the bass guitar and singing with her husband and friends all over Idaho. For those of you lucky enough to be there, she played her last gig on the night of February 8, 2013 - only hours before she passed. Consider yourselves blessed.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Daniels, a loving companion of 48 years. She is also survived by six children; Al Compton of Twin Falls, ID, Sally Compton of Elko, NV, Crysta Hernandez of Boise, ID, Sean Compton of Sitka, AK, Sheila Compton of Denver, CO, and Erin Harrawood of Idaho Falls, ID. She is survived by four sisters and two brothers - Nita Bond, Pat Maroney, Dan Kelly, Peggy Tysver, Judy Whittaker, and Mick Kelly. Irish is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Daniels of Coeur D'Alene, as well as two other sisters - Violet Pope and Flora Simco.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13th at the First Assembly of God, 703 Locust St in Buhl, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl.
