Mary "JoAnn" Joan Jenkins, 87, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away February 2, 2024. She was born September 13, 1936, in Kansas City, Kansas to Raymond and Irene Watkins. Mary, also known as Joann, was a loving and caring individual who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
JoAnn was married to Charles on December 25, 1953, and together they enjoyed their time in California before settling down in Buhl, Idaho. She treasured their beautiful home in the valley where she found great joy in always welcoming her loved ones. She cherished the company of her friends and family, and their visits always brought her happiness.
In her career, JoAnn worked at the hospital in Corona, California, where she dedicated herself to helping others. Outside of her career, JoAnn enjoyed crocheting, going to auctions, and taking trips to Jackpot. These hobbies brought her great joy and allowed her to express her creativity.
JoAnn is survived by her son, Rocky (Priscilla) Jenkins; grandchildren, Starlett (Clayton) Strolberg, Stephanie, and Ryan Jenkins; step-granddaughter, Lisa; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Skylar, Cepheus, and Ariel; as well as eight great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty, Shirley and Linda.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles; her parents; three brothers, Robert, Roy, and Denny; and her daughter, Eula "Veed".
A memorial service to honor JoAnn’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 9th Ave N, Buhl, Idaho.
Mary "Joann" Jenkins will forever be remembered for her kindness, love, and warm hospitality. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
