Mary Wardell, 54, of West Jordan, Utah, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at her home.
Mary was born on December 8, 1961, in Twin Falls, Idaho to John and Ruth Crawford. Mary attended school in Buhl and graduated with the class of 1980. She attended two years at Idaho State University in Pocatello, before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved the skiing and the mountains in that area and it was there that she met her husband, Harold. They were married in Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands and again later at the Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Taylorsville, Utah.
While in school, she was active in golf and played on the golf team and drill team. She worked while in school at her dads drug store, where she made many friends that are still friends today. She worked as a para legal for Williams and Hunt law firm for the past 26 years. She loved her work and the many wonderful people she met through it. She had an infectious smile that would light up a room. She always knew you even if she had not see you in some time. She enjoyed coming home to Buhl and meeting her friends at the Clear Lakes Country Club, where she spent a lot of time when growing up.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Harold; son, Alex Wardell; daughters, Margaret Ruth (Meggie) of West Jordan, Utah and Adrienne Sula of Des Moines, Iowa; mother, Ruth Crawford of Buhl; brothers, Jim (Colen) Crawford of Twin Falls, Nick (Shannon) Crawford of Boise and Brian (Erika) Crawford of Mannhein, Germany; sisters, Connie (John) Christofferson of Boise and Stacie (Chad) Shouse of Pocatello and several neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, John Crawford.
