Max Jean Eldredge Obituary
Max Jean Eldredge - 80, passed away peacefully June 24th, 2013 at home in Buhl Idaho after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Max was born to George G. Eldredge and Barbra Marie Eckerdt January 27th 1933 in Worland, Wyoming, the last of five children. Max grew up on a farm north of Buhl Idaho, and loved to ride horses, play baseball, as well as football. He attended Brigham Young University, where he developed a lifelong passion for skiing.
During the Korean War Max enlisted in the U. S. Army and served in Heidelberg, Germany in G2 Intelligence Network Order of Battle, and held a Top Secret Clearance. After the war, he served an LDS mission in West Germany. While, as a missionary, Max sang with the Salt Lake Mormoniers, performing to standing room only crowds of up to 1400 people all across Germany. On June 27th 1961 Max married Rosina Elizabeth Vallozzi in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Max and Rosina are the parents of five children - Tony Eric, Brent Jean, Natasha, Troy Sean, and Nathan Justin, and are grandparents to 19 grandchildren. Max held several unique occupations throughout his career, ranging from a Banker, to owning a Ranch, as well as a General contractor. Max enjoyed snowmobiling, riding ATV's and generally being in the out of doors. Max was deeply religious, and had a profound love for the Lord. He expressed this by putting others first, and was often found serving his fellow man, whom he also loved. He will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 in the Buhl 1st Ward Building at 501 Main Street, Buhl ID, with a viewing being held at 10 AM prior to the service. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl, Idaho.
