Nelda B. Miller, 91, of Buhl, passed away on Wednesday, Novemeber 16, 2016 at Evergreen Place Assisted Living.
Nelda was born on January 27, 1925, the first born of James and Ilah Bench, in Cache Valley, Utah. She grew up in Cache Valley attending school there.
On October 8, 1941, Nelda married William Miller in the Logan Temple in Logan, Utah. During the early years of their marriage they lived in different areas. They lived in Hyrum, Utah for about a year until William enlisted in the Army. His duty assignments took him to Texas and Kansas and they lived there until his discharge. They returned to Logan for a short time before they moved to Downey, California. Leaving Downey, they moved to Buhl, Idaho. They lived in Buhl for a short time before moving back to California. However, in 1950, they returned to Buhl, where they purchased a farm and lived there ever since.
During their time together, Nelda and William were blessed with three children, Maxine, Linda and Mike. They were also members of the LDS Church.
Nelda is survived by her three children, Maxine Drown, Linda Griggs and Mike Miller; eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Miller and brother, Oriel Bench.
A funeral service has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl.
