Pat Saude passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Applegate Assisted in Buhl, Idaho.
Pat was born April 12, 1931 in Elgin, North Dakota to Anton and Rose Schaff who migrated from Russia to the United States where their first stop was Ellis Island in the early 1900's.
Pat moved from San Jose, California in 1990. She was a homemaker who volunteered at her church, Immaculate Conception in Buhl, Idaho. She spent many hours with other volunteers cleaning, preparing fish dinners, funeral dinners, delivering meals on wheels, and whatever else came up. She loved to cook and was very good at it. She was a member of the Grange in San Jose, CA and Buhl, ID. While in San Jose she loved helping at the Santa Clara County Fair selling Strawberry Shortcake with other Granges as well as setting up displays.
Pat was a loving mother and is survived by her children, Son, Terry Schober (Donna); daughters, Karen (Schober) Villarreal (Cesar), and Eugenia/Gigi (Parra) Hilbert (Doug); Grandchildren, Richard Alves, Shannon (Alves) Gwinn (Tommy), Caleb Hilbert, and Sarah Hilbert and Great Grandchildren, Justin Gwinn, Alyssa Gwinn, Kevin Alves, Nathan Alves and Amy Hilbert.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1701 Poplar Street, Buhl, Idaho. There will be a public viewing between 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 Ninth Ave North, Buhl, Idaho.
Pat's family would like to thank Pam Crabtree and her staff at Applegate Assisted Living in Buhl, Idaho for taking great care of their mom during her last days. We also would like to thank the staff at Wynwood in Twin Falls during her time spent with them.
