Phyllis McGee

Phyllis Marie Smoot Goodwin McGee, 88 of Buhl, passed away September 7, 2012 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
She was born Oct. 22, 1923 in Pueblo, CO the daughter of Earl and Ida Ostrander. Her father was killed 11 months later. Ida then married Tex Smoot and he raised Phyllis as his daughter.
Phyllis married Lewis Goodwin on July 3, 1940 and together they had one son Edwin. They were later divorced. Phyllis married Arlen McGee on April 5, 1969 and he later passed away on Sept. 1, 1982.
She is survived by her son, Edwin (Patsy) of Buhl; grandchildren, Claudette (Owen) Shriver of Buhl; Harwood (Tasha) Goodwin of Twin Falls; great grandchildren, Garrett, Carson, Sara (Justin), Andrew, Levi, and Kimberlee; great-great grandchildren Ryder and Parker; nieces, Sharon Smoot and Doris Gooddale; and nephew, Rex Smoot.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Buster and Wayne, her husband Arlen, and brothers-in-law Mack and Ray.
