BUHL

Richard “Rick” Edward Juker, aged 77, passed away on July 15, 2024, in Buhl, Idaho, the city where he lived a life marked by dedication and love for his community.

Born on July 11, 1947, in Twin Falls, Idaho, Rick was known for his unwavering work ethic and deep commitment to his family and the local high school sports teams. Rick attended Buhl Elementary and Buhl High School before serving his country through the Army National Guard, stationed in Boise, Idaho. His military service was characterized by the discipline and camaraderie that defined his later endeavors, including his own business, Rick Juker - Backhoe Service. His company not only served the community, but also provided a foundation for his lifelong interest in teaching his sons, Jake and Justin, about the values of hard work and integrity.

Beyond his professional life, Rick was an ardent supporter of Buhl High School sporting events, reflecting his community spirit and pride. His hobbies included gardening, camping, and spending quality time with his family, particularly his sons and grandchildren. His love for his family was immense, as was the love they returned to him.

Rick's legacy is one of love, perseverance, and community engagement, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him and the community of Buhl that he cherished so deeply.

Rick is survived by his sons, Jake and Justin; stepsons, Joseph Griggs and Jason Napper; grandchildren, Adrianna, Roxy, Demi, and Seth; nephew, Jason Juker; niece, Dawn Juker; and half-sister, Jamie Juker. His family circle was wide, though it's noteworthy that his brother, Jim Juker, was known as the 'evil brother' within the family lore.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, James LeRoy Juker and Ruby E. Juker; and sisters, Judy E. Juker and Janice Juker.

Memorial Service to honor Rick's life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 16, 2024, at Buhl Bible Church (formerly Old Calvary Chapel Church), 1004 Burley Ave, Buhl.
