Robert E. Hollon, husband, father, brother, grandfather, mechanic and collector of everything "scrap" died January 31, 2015. He passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family.
Robert was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on January 9, 1932 to Johnnie and Hazel (Dingle) Hollon. He was 1 of 10 children that grew up in the Snake River Canyon. A childhood he would never forget and one he loved to tell stories about. Robert served in the Marine Corps from 1950-1953, during the Korean War, and then he spent the next 14 years in the National Guard.
On April 9, 1956 he married the love of his life Margaret Hollon. They spent 59 years together at the time of his death. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Johnnie Hollon and his sister Hazel May Hollon. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife, Margaret Hollon, his six children; Debbie Lapray, Charlene Tiffany, Robert Hollon, Donna and Diana Hollon, Randy Hollon; his 5 brothers and 4 sisters, 17 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
