Robert “Bob” Bowman of Buhl, Idaho went home to his mansion in Heaven Sunday, October 3, 2021. Dad was born October 30, 1933 to Victor and Estella Bowman in Buhl, Idaho.
He served in the Air Force in France in the 1950’s. Dad was a big dreamer and had numerous jobs over his work career. His favorites were logging, mining, and spending his last years owning and operating Bowman Orchard in Buhl. Dad was always busy working in the orchard, tending to his goats, and some years working in the garden. At the time of his death, he was married to his wife of 42 years, Myrna and he was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pauline; brothers, Cliff, Don, and Roy; three grandchildren, Joshua Davis, Stephanie Davis, and Joseph Coleman.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna; sons, Robert Bowman, Dan (Rosa) Bowman, Richard (Dawn) Bowman, and Ronald (Tiffany) Bowman; daughters, Shirley (Tim) Davis, Estella Higgins, Audrey (Carl) Ireton, Beverly Bowman, and Rachel Coleman; a whole lot of grandkids, and oodles of great grandkids. We’re all going to miss you, Dad.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 at Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 1585 E. Elm St. Buhl.
