Shirley Sue (Ballard) Knutson
1951 ~ 2017

Former Buhl High School grad and long time Alaskan resident, Shirley Sue (Ballard) Knutson, peacefully passed away on August 3, 2017 in Buhl, Idaho at the Desert View Care Center.

A former Air Force Airman and house wife, devoted wife and mother, she did everything she could for her children, husband and friends, yet asked for nothing in return. She was a beautiful soul with a heart of Gold.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; son, Ted; mother, Maggie Ballard; father, Dixon Ballard and brother, Halqua Ballard.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Susanne) Knutson; daughter, Eva (Mike); sister, Rhonda (Kendel) Woll; 13 grand children and 3 great grand children.

She will be missed.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August, 11, 2017 at the West End Cemetery in Buhl, Idaho.
