Silvia Bautista left us on July 13, 2021 with her family by her side in Boise, Idaho. She was family oriented and a very shy and humble woman with a cute and quirky personality; anyone that met her was quickly won over by her. She always wanted to feed others, there was no going to visit her without getting fed something that she had just made.
She was a kind and gentle person with a pure heart. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, experimenting with recipes, sewing, crocheting, knitting, playing games with her kids and spending time with her loved ones. She loved animals and frequently had fish and birds as well as beautiful plants inside the house that she would proudly show off.
Silvia is survived by her husband, Aurelio Bautista; children, Sandra Sanchez, Brianda Sanchez, Neo Sanchez, Blanca Bautista (Eric), Yanet Bautista, Gaby Bautista, and AJ Bautista; grandchildren, Eliana, Alia, Rosalani, and Anahi; parents, Rafael Rodriguez (Josie), Hermenegilda Talavera; siblings, Hector Rodriguez (Lora), Jesus Mendoza, Andrea Deleon (Sam), Humberto Rodriguez (Monica), Arturo Mendoza, Alma Canchola-Rodriguez, and Rafael Jr. Rodriguez (Krista); and her extended family, the Talavera Family, the Martinez Family, and the Bautista Family.
A viewing of Silvia will be held from 3-8 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 9th Ave. North Buhl, with the rosary to begin at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 161 6th Ave East, Twin Falls. Interment will conclude at West End Cemetery, 1575 East 4150 North, Buhl.
