Spencer Scott Christensen

In loving memory of Spencer Scott Christensen, who passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2023 at the young age of 34. Spencer was born March 30, 1989, to parents Scott Christensen and Sophia Georgio.  He was a beloved brother, son, grandson, fiancé and friend. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit.

Spencer lived a life filled with love, laughter and cherished moments with family and friends. He was known for his larger-than-life presence, a smile that would light up a room and always had a welcoming heart for anyone in need.

Throughout his life, Spencer worked as an electrician and most recently in roofing construction. He will be deeply missed and remembered for his humor, singing and dancing. He loved taking his dog, Jack, on multiple walks a day. Most recently he enjoyed sturgeon fishing.

In this time of grief, we find solace in the memories we shared with Spencer. His memory will forever live on in our hearts and we will honor his legacy by carrying forward the values he imparted upon us.

Spencer was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchel Christensen; mother, Sophia Georgio; and grandparents, Dave & Anne Christensen.

 He is survived by his father, Scott Christensen; brother, Donavan (Daniela) Christensen; sister, Emily (Stetson) Blair; his beloved nephew, Noah; and niece, Nixyn; sister, Sydney Lewis; stepfather, Steve Garner; fiancé, Meeka Loya; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 28, 2023, with a viewing beginning at Noon, at First Christian Church, 1005 Poplar Street, Buhl. Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Spencer’s life and bidding a fond farewell.

We invite those who attend to bring a sticker reminding them of Spencer, to place on the casket at the conclusion of the graveside service.

May Spencer rest in peace and may his soul find eternal peace.
