Tamara Stacy Bowman-Showers - Jerome

Tammy Bowman Showers, 53, of Jerome, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2015. Tammy was born Jan. 4, 1962 to Ernest F Bowman and Marjorie Bowman in Buhl, Idaho. Tammy graduated from Buhl High School in 1980. She married Ryan Showers in 1988 and they lived together in Jerome for 27 years. They attended the 1st Baptist Church in Jerome. Tammy loved to camp, fish and spend time with her family in the mountains. She loved to do crafts and work with her hands. She volunteered at the CSI Film Club and the Jerome Astronomy Club. Tammy loved to have barbecues and get together with her family. She had a beautiful heart and soul and was an amazing person. She will be missed by many that knew and loved her. She is at peace now.

Tammy writes, "My Dad taught me to fish, camp and survive in the wilderness. He and Mom also helped me through my cancer when I was younger, giving me much love and care. I have always loved to read and do crafts, as well as put together puzzles. One of my favorite activities was to make things for friends and family. The homes of family and friends are full of the things I made for them, I am a giver. The Lord taught me to follow his path, I live for Him! Now and always I know I'll see all my loved ones in Heaven."

Tammy is survived by her husband, Ryan Showers of Jerome; mother, Marjorie Bowman of Buhl; two older sisters, Marilyn Fournier of Twin Falls, Dee (Henry) Patton of Buhl; two brothers, Mike (Becky) Bowman of Hailey and Jeff Bowman of Utah.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Bowman.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl. A viewing will be 5 - 7 p.m. Wed. May 13 at Farmer Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at the West End Cemetery in Buhl.
