Theodore Ray Mraz

Theodore “Ted” Ray Mraz passed away on Saturday July 13, 2024 at the Desert View Care Center at the age of 85.

Ted was born February 2, 1939, to William Mraz and Beanie Mraz and was raised in Buhl, Idaho, with his siblings. He attended and graduated from Buhl High School. He married Judy Gafford in 1961 and they were married for 57 years and had two daughters together, Melissa and Amy.

Ted started working from the age of 13 at various jobs, but one of his most beloved early jobs was working at Jack Moss Bakery. Ted was a member of the National Guard Reserve and worked for Buhl Implement for 52 years from which he retired at age 72. Ted was very diligent, hardworking, caring, and generous.

Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Judy. 

He will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Melissa Mraz and Amy Loman; grandson, Alex Loman; and siblings, Jean Cullimore, Bill Mraz and Sherry Mraz. The family will scatter his ashes in a place of Ted’s choosing.

The family requests no flowers or food, but donations can be made to the Twin Falls Animal Shelter, 420 Victory Ave, Twin Falls.
