Thomas “Tom” William Edmons, 81, of Buhl, died Friday, March 11, 2022 at a Twin Falls hospital. Tom was born January 3, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Ernest Thomas Edmons and Ruby Mae Partin Edmons.
Tom went to high school in Buhl and worked in his younger years hauling hay. Tom later became a bricklayer and built such projects as the Nob Hill Inn in Ketchum and the Buhl City Hall.
In 1958, he married Loraine Byrd and together they had four children. Tom was an avid hunter, fisherman and in his younger years, he loved to fly fish. He had many adventures fishing for salmon, and sturgeon. Tom also enjoyed coin collecting and was a life-long member of the Church of Christ.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Edmons; parents, Ernie and Ruby Edmons; brother, Jon Edmons; and son, Scott Edmons. Tom is survived by sons, Jay Edmons and Dale Edmons; daughter, Kay Massey; sister, Betty Albee; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held 10:00 am, Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Church of Christ, 829 Broadway North, Buhl. A graveside service will follow at West End Cemetery, Buhl.
