Troy Harvey

May 25, 1962 — March 8, 2014

Troy Lee Harvey of Buhl passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones.

As a young boy Troy loved spending time with his grandpa Ed fishing, and

became his lifelong friend. Troy was blessed to have such a tender, loving

mother who would be by his side and care for him throughout his life.

During his school years, Troy loved being involved in many sports,

including wrestling, football, basketball, and track. He was an avid

skier, and enjoyed scuba diving. He also enjoyed singing and had a

beautiful voice. He excelled in everything he did.

After his school years, Troy served his country in the Armed Forces.

In his later years, Troy enjoyed going to Arctic Circle, McDonalds, and

Jacksons to visit with his numerous friends.

Troy had a tender heart. He never knew a stranger, and would give anyone

the shirt off his back. He was loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his mother Sharon (Bruce) Wegener, father Karl Lee

(Susan) Harvey, siblings Karla (John) Ferrulli, Todd (Lisa) Harvey, Kip

(Carina) Harvey, Eric Harvey, Christopher (Shelly) Harvey, Kristen

(Philip) Jenkins, Buffy (Rocky) Van Sickle, Sam (Shauna) Harvey, numerous

nieces and nephews, and his only living grandmother Blanche Larrigan. He

is preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Golda Roberts, George and

Vera Harvey, and Louie Larrigan.

The family would like to thank Hospice Visions for their excellent care

during his final days, especially Steve and Carl, for their love,

compassion, and friendship. A special thanks to Buffy for all she has

done.

A funeral service has been scheduled for 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the LDS Church on Main St. In Buhl. A viewing will be between 1 and 2 pm, prior to the service at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl, Idaho.
