Victoria Jean Jagels

Victoria "Vicky" Jean Jagels, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on April 10, 2024, in Buhl, Idaho. She was born on July 8, 1951, in Inglewood, California.

Vicky led a fulfilling life as a secretary at Waite Electric in Twin Falls, Idaho, where she crossed paths with her husband Richard. Richard and Vicky were married February 25, 1978, at Clover Trinity Lutheran Church in Buhl. Together, they continued to work Richard’s existing farm, raised sheep, and she also had a passion for grooming animals. Vicky's dedication to her work and her hobbies left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Vicky found joy in crafting homemade Captain Colt Cookies for dogs and offering them to local veterinarians as well as to grooming services like Grooming by Mary's and Snips in Twin Falls. Her love for animals shone brightly through these endeavors.

Vicky is survived by her husband, Richard T. Jagels; two sons, Dino Cecchi of Sparks, Nevada, and Christopher R. Jagels of Maysville, Washington; grandchildren, Harley, Brittney, and Carrick; and great-grandchildren Wesley and James.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Junior M. Long and Peggy J. Powers; sisters, Debbie Nelson of Meridian, Idaho, and Candace Long of Reno, Nevada.

May Vicky's spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her and all should know she was strong with the Bible and loved her Lord.

Memorial donations may be made in Vicky’s name to the People for Pets Twin Falls Animal Shelter, 420 Victory Ave, Twin Falls.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 9^th Ave North, Buhl. Burial will conclude at the Clover Lutheran Cemetery.
